Principal: Dilushka Wanigatunga

With over 15 years of management in the luxury hospitality space, Dilushka brings her leadership skills to the forefront with her keen attention to detail, service aptitude, and creative vision. She has been a key influencer for some of the most prominent hotel brands, winery, and event operations in Los Angeles and the Bay Area. Her commitment to defining innovative experiences is unparalleled. Dilushka specializes in collaborating with small scale brands and creates a roadmap to becoming a leader in the industry.

Prior to ModernVine Hospitality, Dilushka served as the Managing Director of the acclaimed Ram’s Gate Winery in Sonoma. Dilushka held a leadership role overseeing all winery operations including sales & marketing, key partnerships, event programs, winemaking, membership, hospitality, finance, and distribution. She focused her energy on inspiring a dynamic team to execute a successful operation, creating a hospitality environment unlike any other in Wine Country, and building an inclusive culture.

Dilushka’s background comes from her time with the entertainment and fashion industry working with the official Style Studios of the Grammy and ESPY Awards, which marked her ability to work with high performance demands and deliver sought after events. She then applied that creative passion during her time with Viceroy Hotel Group leading the company’s event teams and aligning strategic partnerships. Dilushka’s tenacity and commitment afforded her the opportunity to serve on the opening teams of Viceroy Anguilla (now known as Four Seasons Anguilla) and Hotel Zetta in San Francisco.

Dilushka currently resides in the Bay Area with her husband and son. During Covid, she has spent her time exploring the different wines of the world, going on outdoor adventures and dreams of the day to be able to travel again.
